We are looking for a Fund Accountant who is highly motivated and self-directed in tracking and achieving fund performance. The role is primarily accounting and there will be a busy season, so we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting things done.

A short brief on your role:
Our Fund Accountant will play an important role working with the Managing Partner on fund accounting, valuations, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit and tax support, along with various other tasks.
Our ideal candidate should have exceptional attention to detail, possess a strong work ethic, and have the ability to take complete ownership of work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Maintenance of general ledger and accounting records for the funds and related entities, including preparation of journal entries based upon investment and fund documentation.
Prepare financial statements, including monthly reconciliations, footnote disclosures, schedules of investment & portfolio summary reports.
Building financial forecasting models for the annual budget and portfolio monitoring of the funds.
Prepare annual audit and tax filings.
Assist with the onboarding of new investors and responding to investor inquiries.
Ad-hoc reporting, finance, and operational data projects
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Active licensed CPA, or strong desire to pursue CPA licensure.
3-5 years experience with a public accounting firm, or venture capital and/or private equity firm.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to read and interpret venture financing documents and recording relevant accounting and valuation transactions.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required and G Suite applications.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to see and understand the bigger picture.
Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and take complete ownership of work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
